It is a matter of immense pride and happiness for Madhya Pradesh that
the state team secured an impressive total of 12 bronze medals and 6 silver
medals in the Mallakhamb competition held during the first Khelo India
Tribal Games at Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh.
Adding further glory to the achievement, athletes from Carmel
Convent Senior Secondary School, Ujjain performed exceptionally well
while representing the Madhya Pradesh team at the national level. Their
dedication, discipline, and excellent performance brought honour to both the
state and the school.
The medal winners from the school are:
1.John Awase won 2 bronze medals in Pole Mallakhamb Team and Rope
Mallakhamb Team
2. Aayush Ninama won 2 bronze medals in Pole Mallakhamb Team and
Rope Mallakhamb Team
3. Marriyam Kharte won 1 silver medal in Rope Mallakhamb Team
4.Mitali Kharte won 1 silver medal in Rope Mallakhamb Team
The remarkable success of these young athletes reflects their hard
work, determination, and rigorous training. Their achievement has made Carmel
Convent Senior Secondary School proud and inspired fellow students to excel in
sports and co-curricular activities.
