“The Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth.” – Marlee Matlin
On the occasion of World Earth Day, the students of Class 9 B conducted a special morning assembly on 24th April 2025 at Carmel School, Ujjain. The purpose of the assembly was to raise awareness about the urgent need to protect our environment and adopt sustainable practices. The highlight of the event was a meaningful skit and a graceful dance performance, both delivering powerful messages about the harmful effects of human activities on nature. The skit creatively showcased pressing issues like deforestation, pollution, and climate change, while the dance beautifully portrayed the planet's strength, beauty, and vulnerability.
The program concluded with a collective pledge by both students and staff to protect the Earth by reducing waste, conserving resources, and planting more trees. This thoughtful assembly not only informed but also motivated everyone present to take meaningful steps towards a greener and healthier planet.
