Carmel Convent School, Ujjain, joyfully celebrated the Feast Day of
the school Patroness ,Mother Mary on 15
th July 2025 with great reverence and festive spirit, honoring the rich
spiritual heritage of the Carmelite Order.
The day commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamp,symbolizing
the guiding light of knowledge and wisdom.A soulful prayer song and the tiny
tots of Kindergarten lit up the stage and also celebrated Carmel Day with
devotion, presenting a sweet prayer and lively dance.The event also included a
floral felicitation, where students honoured the sisters with tokens of love
and care.
Students showcased the lives and teachings of Carmelite saints,
performed a value-based skit, and filled the stage with energy during a
celebration dance, reflecting Carmel’s spirit of excellence.
Our beloved Principal Dr. Sister Kripa Maria delivered a heartfelt
address, appreciating the efforts of teachers and students and inspiring all to
carry forward the Carmel values of faith, service, and dedication.
The school proudly honoured its jubilant teachers, Mrs. Nupur Munshi
and Mrs. Ekta Potdar, for their dedicated years of service to the institution.,
and honoured the academic achievers of Classes X and XII. A special moment was
the inauguration of the new house dress, giving the school a refreshed and
unified identity.
Further applause was given to teachers Mr. Sanjeev Sir and Mrs. Ritu
Sharma for their exceptional guidance, which resulted in students achieving
perfect 100/100 scores. Full attendance awards were also presented to Mrs.
Sarita Menon, Mrs. Rohini Daniel, Mrs. Neha Bhatt, and Mrs. Shefali David,
recognizing their consistent commitment.
As a symbol of academic motivation, the St. Chavara St. Euphrasia
Scholarships were awarded to students scoring above 90%. In tribute to Mr.
Jayesh Bhaksi, the Jayesh Sir Memorial Cash Award was given to the city topper,
encouraging the pursuit of excellence.
Sister Kripa Maria warmly appreciated Class 8A and their class teacher Ms. Laxmi Yadav .The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, followed by the distribution of chocolates, leaving everyone with blessings, smiles, and a renewed Carmel spirit.
