Carmel School, Ujjain, organized a two-day CBSE Seminar on 26th and 27th July 2025 based on  "Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices’. The objective was to equip teachers with effective, student – centered assessment methods in line with CBSE and NEP 2020 guidelines. The sessions were conducted by two renowned educationists, Mrs. Ronika Gagneja Valecha, Principal of SICA Senior Secondary School, Indore, and Mrs. Rijeena Thomson, Principal of Mount Carmel Vidyapeeth.

The resource persons shared insights on competency-based assessments and modern evaluation tools. Also they shared their expertise on effective, student-friendly, and competency-based assessment strategies in alignment with CBSE guidelines and NEP 2020.

The seminar provided valuable insights, encouraged interactive discussions, and proved to be a meaningful professional development experience for the teachers.
