In the spirit of patriotism and national pride, Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School organised a Flag March on 7th August 2025 as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The event was conducted in accordance with the CBSE's ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, aiming to instil the values of unity, discipline, and love for the nation among students.

The march commenced from the school premises, with students proudly carrying the Tiranga and chanting patriotic slogans. Hawaldar Narendra Singh, 10 MP battalion (first officer), Sr. Licy, Sr. Seren,Teachers and staff members accompanied the students, ensuring discipline and safety throughout the route. The tricolour flags fluttering in the air and the rhythmic slogans created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and national pride in the neighbourhood.

The objective of the march was to spread awareness about the importance of independence, pay tribute to the freedom fighters, and encourage citizens to participate actively in national events. The local community responded warmly, with several residents joining in to cheer and appreciate the students’ efforts.
