To mark National Mental Health Awareness Day, the students of Class
VIII C conducted a special assembly to spread awareness about the importance of
mental well-being.
The program began with a solemn school prayer, followed by an
inspiring thought of the day. The assembly featured a variety of presentations,
including thought-provoking poems, a melodious group song, a meaningful skit,
and a graceful dance performance. Each segment emphasized that true well-being
is holistic, highlighting the need to nurture one’s mind alongside physical
health.
Our Honourable Principal, Dr. Sister Kripa Maria, addressed the
gathering and stressed that a healthy mind forms the foundation of happiness
and success in life. She encouraged students to support and listen to one
another, and to speak openly about mental health challenges without stigma. She
also appreciated the sincere efforts of Class VIII C and their class teacher,
Ms. Nupur Munshi, in organizing the event.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by a
student representative, followed by the dignified rendition of the National
Anthem. The assembly left the audience inspired and motivated to prioritize
mental wellness in their daily lives.
