As a part of the SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work and Action)
programme, the students of Class V-ABC of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary
School, Ujjain visited the Government School, Kamed, Ujjain. The visit aimed to
create awareness about cleanliness and hygiene among the students of the
government school.
Under the guidance of the class teachers Mrs Ritu Sharma, Mrs Anushree
and Mrs Sarita Yadav The Carmelites presented an engaging street play (Nukkad
Natak) highlighting the importance of maintaining personal and environmental
hygiene. The play encouraged students to adopt healthy habits and keep their
surroundings clean.
After the performance, the students interacted warmly with the
government school children and distributed soaps as a small contribution to
promote daily cleanliness practices. The activity reflected the true spirit of
service, compassion, and social responsibility.
