A demonstration on the steps of proper hand washing was conducted by
the students of Class II as a part of the SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work
Education and Action) activity under the guidelines of CBSE.
The main objective of this activity was to create awareness among
young learners about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in daily life.
The students enthusiastically participated in the demonstration, showcasing the
seven steps of effective hand washing — from wetting hands, applying soap,
rubbing palms and fingers, cleaning nails and wrists, to rinsing and drying
hands properly.
The class Teachers, Mrs Sangeeta Dumeer, Mrs Monika Kadam and Mrs.
Astha Ahuja guided the students throughout the session, emphasizing how washing
hands correctly helps in preventing the spread of germs and maintaining good
health. The activity was both educational and enjoyable, promoting healthy
habits among children at an early age.
