Robo Fest 2025: A celebration of Robotics and cultural expression

Carmel Convent Sr Sec School organised The Robot Fest on 14th Nov 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation from students and teachers. The event aimed to introduce young learners to the world of robotics, innovation, and technology, while also celebrating creativity through a vibrant cultural programme.

Honorable Principal Dr Sr Kripa Maria welcomed the President most Revd.Dr. Sebastian Vadakel  (archbishop Ujjain) who encouraged students to explore science and technology with curiosity and confidence. The program was honoured by the chief guest Mr. Shreyas Gokhale (SAS), (Deputy Director) retd. Ujjain along with the guest of honour Rev. Sr. Rose Tom  (CMC) provincial councillor, Bhopal.

This was followed by the opening of the Robo Fest which was the main attraction of the fest.

In the exhibition, students from different classes showcased a variety of robotic models designed and built by them. Some of the highlights included line-following robots, humanoid robots, obstacle-avoiding bots, smart home automation models, and innovative sensors-based devices. Each display reflected the students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and understanding of modern technology. Visitors, including parents and teachers, appreciated the hard work and explanations provided by the participants.

 An engaging cultural programme was also organized in which Students presented dances, skits, and songs. The cultural segment added colour and entertainment to the event, making it enjoyable for everyone.

The Robot Fest successfully combined technology and creativity, giving students a platform to learn, explore, and express themselves. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all participants, teachers, and organizers. It was indeed an inspiring and memorable day for the entire school.
