A special awareness session was conducted in Carmel Convent Sr Sec School  on  under the  Muskan Abhiyan an initiative aimed at ensuring the safety, protection, and well-being of children. The session was led by the Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Alok Sharma, who addressed the students on various important issues related to safety and responsible behaviour.

The program began with a warm welcome of the guest, The Additional SP Mr Alok Sharma by Rev. Sr. Lissy,  the school Manager. The welcome address and introduction was given by Mrs. Ruchi Sharma. Mr. Alok Sharma introduced the objectives of Muskan Abhiyan, highlighting how the police department works to safeguard children, prevent crimes against minors, and provide immediate help in emergency situations.

During the session, the officer discussed several key topics, including:

·         Child safety and self-protection techniques

·         The importance of saying “No” to unsafe touches

·         Cyber safety and responsible use of mobile phones and social media

·         How to approach the police in case of danger or suspicious activities

The Additional SP, Mr. Alok Sharma also encouraged students to stay alert, trust their instincts, and report any unsafe situation without fear. Real-life examples were shared to help students understand the importance of awareness and quick action.
