On January 19, 2026,
Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School witnessed a spirited special assembly
organized by the students of Class 2-C to commemorate the birth anniversary of
the legendary freedom fighter, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The program was conducted
under the dedicated guidance of the class teacher, Ms. Monika Kadam. The assembly commenced with the prayer song "Sachai
ke Marg par Chale," setting a solemn and truthful tone for the morning.
Students then shared several interesting facts about Netaji's life and his
heroic leadership. The cultural segment was a mix of a melodious song
titled an impactful skit on his life. The
event concluded with an energetic patriotic dance.
A significant part of the assembly was dedicated to the
preachings of Netaji, which continue to inspire the youth today. He preached
the importance of unity and discipline, emphasizing that every Indian must work
for the nation’s progress regardless of caste or creed.
