The spirit of patriotism and national pride filled the air as
Classes 6B and 6C of Carmel Convent School conducted a special assembly to
celebrate Republic Day. The programme thoughtfully showcased the values of our
Constitution and highlighted the importance of leadership, discipline, and
responsibility. The Nursery class also celebrated Republic Day with a prayer,
patriotic songs, and a dance skit.
A significant highlight of the programme was the ceremonial transfer
of responsibilities. The Head Girl and Head Boy, along with the House Captains
of all four houses, officially handed over the roles of Marshal and House Vice
Captains to the newly appointed student leaders. This moment emphasized
accountability, discipline, and the nurturing of leadership among students.
The celebration was further enriched by an impressive PT display
performed by the students of Classes 2 and 3. Their synchronized movements and
energetic performance added vibrancy and patriotic zeal to the assembly.
The event stood as a proud and memorable occasion, showcasing the
spirit of service and dedication as young leaders pledged to uphold the ideals
and values of the nation.
